Béisbol
In 2007 filmmakers John Hyams and Jon Greenhalgh traveled to The Dominican Republic to develop a documentary series about young baseball players struggling to escape poverty. The project was pitched to ESPN, but was ultimately derailed due to licensing conflicts. This is the 5 minute pitch reel and a photo series that were used in those meetings.
Fighters
In 2017 Jon Greenhalgh developed a documentary series titled Fighters, which profiled traditional martial artists throughout the world. The series was developed in tandem with Northsouth Productions in NYC and is currently being pitched to networks. The pitch reel below is comprised mostly of footage shot during The Smashing Machine and other related projects.
